Lives and Legacy

In 2010, as a means of preserving the history of Japanese American alumnae at UC Berkeley, we conducted a number of oral histories, which served as the inspiration for the 38 page monograph, "Lives and Legacy," by Joyce Nao Takahashi.  Further details of JAWAUCB's structure and history can be found in the monograph which was included in Bancroft Library’s “WWII American Home Front” and in the “150 years of Women at Berkeley."  The monograph is in its 2nd edition and can be downloaded below.
